Ein internationales Ausstellungsprojekt das unter Kuration von Jens Mühlhoff im Februar 2016 in Reykjavik, Island stattfand.
Stille, Leere, Minimalismus, (Wort)karkheit… irgendwo dazwischen lässt sich ein warmes und lebensfrohes Gefühl verorten, dass …[BÆNG]… untersucht und erfahrbar macht. Untrennbar gehört dieses auch zu Charakteristik von Island selbst. Durch den globalen Blick aller KünsterInnen und Künstler vereint entstand eine Gesamtinstallation, in der die ausgestellte Werke untereinander und mit dem Gallerieraum verschmilzen: So gibt etwa die Soundinstallation von Sebastian Kraner das Timing vor nach dem Claire Paugam in ihrem Video-Selbstprotrait unter Wasser taucht. Mit ihrem Abtauchen färbt zugleich die Lichtinstallation von Jens Mühlhoff den gesamten Ausstellungsraum in ein tiefes Blau: Sämtliche Farben im Raum und der ausgestellten Werke gehen für eine Zeit verloren. Besonders prägend für die Gesamtstimmung ist auch die Dauer-Performance von Florence So-Yue Lam, die schlafend auf einer Matratze im Raum liegt.
